Our Story
FLASHOMICS Corp. is addressing the rapidly increasing number of cancer patients and the rising cost of anti-cancer treatments by focusing on the growing demand for personalized medicine and precision diagnostics. In line with this trend, cutting-edge research areas such as spatial genomics and spatial proteomics are gaining significant attention.
While genomics provides valuable insight, it cannot fully explain all biological phenomena due to its intermediate role in metabolism. Therefore, spatial proteomics, which investigates the spatial distribution of proteins, the final products of metabolism, is emerging as a crucial field of study.
FlashOmics is the first company in Korea to specialize in spatial proteomics analysis and technology development. We possess world-leading technology that enables three-dimensional observation of numerous proteins while minimizing tissue damage.
Moreover, in the rapidly expanding bio big data analysis market, Korea remains highly dependent on foreign technologies. This creates a growing risk of sensitive Korean bio data being leaked abroad, potentially leading to public health security threats.
